SMAT, a Leading Corporate Auto Leasing Provider, Delivers MG EP PLUS EVs to Promote Clean Energy in Thailand’s Public Transport System

On May 23, 2025, Sumitomo Mitsui Auto Leasing & Service (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (SMAT), a leading provider of corporate auto leasing services in Thailand, partnered with SAIC Motor-CP Co., Ltd. and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd.—the manufacturer and distributor of MG vehicles in Thailand, has taken a step forward to promote clean energy usage in Thailand’s public transportation system. Together, they delivered MG EP PLUS electric vehicles to representatives of Bovorn Taxi Cooperative and Ratchaphruek Taxi Cooperative to be used as electric public taxis, contributing to a more environmentally friendly transportation system. The MG EP PLUS is one of MG’s popular electric models increasingly adopted as public transport vehicles due to its cost efficiency and impressive range of up to 380 kilometers per full charge. This contributes to lower energy expenses and maintenance costs, offering long-term savings.
